I started this website with the purpose of having a method of exercising my freedoms of speech and of the press. Many of the leaders in America want to take away or limit those rights, thinking that they are doing good by advocating government control. Like the good book says “woe unto them that call good evil and evil good”. America is slouching towards Gomorrah in my opinion. Perhaps even running toward it.
For the record I am a Christian. I believe that everyone, whether Christian or not is entitled to live how they wish, provided that they require no one else to subsidize financially, or agree with their way of life or behavior. I am in essence, a libertarian that believes in a benign secular state, that should for as much as possible stay out of people’s lives in general. People have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I believe in these things because I am a Christian. And I love everyone enough to let them live in freedom and chose their destiny (and all Christians should live like this). If I were an atheist I would be living a very different kind of life, and I would be living in a way where my only interests would be what I wanted (I would be more important than anything else). And if I were an atheist, I would be more dedicated to passing my DNA to another generation, because if I were an atheist I would believe that I am going to die and that I am going to oblivion. I praise God I am not atheist. But I do love atheists and have some as friends. I pray for them often.
I have been a Christian since February of 1987. A long time. Perhaps I will post my testimony on this site at a future date. Perhaps.
